I also applied the resolutions to v10's low memory problems found here but the result was the same. So far the issue has only appeared on that particular format. As an experiment I rendered an AVI file of the project 720 x 576 16:9 and had no issues whatsoever.

Grahamlthompson: I sincerely hope it's not a PC issue - the desktop is barely one month old and runs no other applications apart from the Vegas Movie Studio 11 HD Platinum and it's associated 'suite.' I never had an issue rendering the same project on my old Win XP with 2GB RAM and Pentium IV processor and Vegas Movie Studio HD v10.

I haven't noticed any particular problems when I am rendering (but the software does tend to update it's preview screen only intermittently when rendering so I might be 'missing it') but neither have I noticed any issues when I view the project full screen from the preview window, it's only when I play back the DVD render, and it appears on any computer or laptop. Ken42: I'm not sure I understand? They are visible when I view the finished DVD render each time I render the glitches are in different locations but are always in the same location when I repeatedly view a particular render. System: Vegas Movie Studio HD v11 build 283, Win7 64 bit, Intel i7-2600CPU quad core 3.40GHz, 8GB RAM, 24GB paging memory, 4GB virtual memory. I generally use this file format to view draft movies on my computer or to give to people on a memory stick to view as well.Īny help or suggestion would be appreciated, many thanks in advance I haven't tried burning the movie to a DVD yet (I can't afford to keep throwing away DVD's) but I'm a little perplexed as to why I am experiencing glitches on what should be a fairly straightforward format. My project is constructed in 1920x1080x25i from an HD camera so I realise very little recompression is happening when I output to full HD. When I render to an AVCHD format (Sony AVC/MVC, AVCHD 1920x1080-50i) the movie plays back perfectly without any glitches. The audio isn't affected and continues perfectly. This is a purely random effect and doesn't happen at the same location each subsequent render, and can happen partway through a clip so it's not necessarily a problem with an edit. When I am rendering to a DVD output (the supplied 'Main Concept DVD Architect PAL Widescreen' format) I am experiencing visual glitches in the movie the movement briefly pauses and breaks up for around quarter to half a second or so, then continues properly. I recently upgraded to Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 (build 283) and seen to be aware of a new issue.
